Japanese 日本語

kyou

今日

きょう

English 英語
today

This morning I found out that my brother (the one who isn’t studying Japanese with me) is interested in learning some Japanese. He greeted me with “おはようございます” meaning “good morning”. I responded by asking him what he was doing today.

今日は何をしますか。
きょうはなにをしますか。
kyou wa nani o shimasu ka.
What are you doing today?

Turns out that he had only started learning at midnight last night and hadn’t learnt any of these words yet.
がんばって おとうとさん!
